mccafferty's guesthouse is an absolute gem! the room was spacious, modern, and super clean, with air conditioning and no noise from the pub below. the food was fantastic—just what we needed after a long journey. the staff were warm and welcoming, creating an inviting atmosphere.

the staff were super friendly and really helpful. we had a lovely breakfast with a good selection of food. the room was lovely and clean, comfy beds which were great after a long day. parking was free and easy to find which is a big plus. we also loved the live music downstairs, made the stay even more fun!

unfortunately, the noise from the pub was a bit much at bedtime. also, the aircon wasn't working properly, it was kinda warm in the room.

The room was super clean and comfy, had good bedding and nice tea making facilities. My view was lovely with summer flowers outside. But, yeah, it got a bit warm without working AC and the noise from the pub was noticeable at bedtime. Luckily, earplugs were provided which helped a bit. decent for a night or two.

Ideal for a chill night with friends

We had a great time here, the staff went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed, just like they did for other guests! I mean, there’s this bar downstairs that’s a total gem-great atmosphere and live music too!

It wasn't exactly cheap, but at least it was decent value.

I thoroughly enjoyed the quaint, traditionally Irish decor that added a charming character to Mccafferty'S Guesthouse Ilford. The accessibility was excellent, making it easy for me to navigate the guesthouse comfortably during my stay.

Better soundproofing for sleeping during the night.

The room was clean, comfortable, and remarkably quiet despite being situated above a bustling bar. Plenty of towels were provided, and the location near the train station was very convenient for exploring the area. service issues hampered the experience, with staff failing to resolve several requests and the manager being difficult to reach. This lack of coordination overshadowed an otherwise decent stay.
